manneken pis

or called as little man pee. i noticed this little man through Andrea Hirata's story in Edensor. he said that it's a must see. so when i was in belgium, my friends took me there. when we arrived in Brussels, there was a huge crowd over the corner of one street and they were looking above. i still can't see what they were looking. and then... after a few steps more... TARAAA... there he was, the little man which surprised me bcoz he was indeed very little hahaha... i adore him because with his little body he can make a big fortune for Brussels :-)

anyway, the legends of why this little man peed came from different version. one said, he peed during a war to make his opponent lost and the other said that he urinated on a burning explosive charges to avoid Brussels from high flames. if you visit the Museum of Brussels, u will find there various collections of Manneken Pis wearing different clothes from all over the world and from all job profession. whatever he wears, he will always spare a tiny hole for him to be able to pee hehehe...
when my friend looked at this collection, she suddenly lost her sleepiness and looking at each manneken pis enthusiastically and then laughed at each of them. well, u can guess why hehehe...
