Tedak Siten - to step foot on earth

my husband gave me a very useful link about tedak siten, written by Lucky I. Ismail. please read it.

In Javanese, tedak means to step. siten means soil or dirt.

It is actually a bit late for Razki to do tedak siten, it should have been done when he was 7 months or 7 x 35 days.

Nevertheless, we thought we would do this as a simple ceremony and will be attended by our close families only. this should be more like a family gathering after Lebaran instead of highlighting the "adat" thing. it is just for fun :)
