Camp David and Shangri-La

Starting from watching an action movie on my way back home from the US, The Olympus Has Fallen, I was curious to know what is Camp David. Why? Because in this movie, Camp David was pictured as a gloomy place to live (maybe because the setting was in the evening and it was snowing).

It was interesting to read the short information about it in Wikipedia. The original name of Camp David was Hi-Catoctin. Then it was changed by Franklin D. Roosevelt to Shangri-La (which made me browse the name Shangri-La and it was said again in Wikipedia that this name is "often used in a similar context to "Garden of Eden", to represent a paradise hidden from modern man"). But then, interestingly, Dwight D. Eisenhower changed the name Shangri-La into Camp David, simply to honor his father and grandson whose name are David. The middle "D" in Dwight's name is also stands for David :)

I am really curious how Camp David looks like. I hope it is not gloomy like in the movie :)
