inspiring books

**posting 2 minggu lalu, tapi ga keposting2**

just finished reading:

1. Bank Kaum Miskin
by Muhammad Yunus, winner of 2006 Nobel of Peace.
First purpose when I bought this book was for supporting my paper assignment, but lea
rnt that it is more than just a theory of microcredit case in Bangladesh. It's about how we can choose our own path of life.
Yunus choose to release himself from his daily theoretical work as an economy lecturer and decide to dive in the world of poverty that eventually exist around the academic institution but neglected.

Interesting indeed, especially on the history part of poverty in Bangladesh where all this time I found history as a not-to-eyecatching topics. Hehehe... (I am weak in remembering years!)

Another one is on the philosophy of Grameen Bank.
I was amazed on how Yunus put so much trust in lending credits to the poor people without requiring any of their properties as insurance and a long period of repayment.

"Poor people are much more creative than us, proven by their survival in finding ways to live each day of their life. They are poor not because they can't work, but because they haven't been g
iven the opportunity to work like other people do"

2. Travelers' Tale
Finished in one day, since I was unable to put it down except at pray and shower times
.
Joint project by Adhitya Mulya, Alaya Setya, Iman Hidajat, Ninit Yunita.
Story of four old friends...seeking for an answer, one moment in their life time (better explain in here)
Hmm... lovely flow of travel love story which triggered me to always set my imagination on the people's faces in the story and how the place looked like, etc.

Though I wish they placed more pictures inside, they made a good string from the b
eginning until end. Not a simple thing I believe. The chemistry went well to deliver this book as a must read for those who loves to buy experience in traveling instead of shopping or in the beginning of their steps to travel (me! me! and with my future husband maybe?)

Another wish: I wish the book is much more thicker! He he he...

PS: Any sequence?
PPS: Their blogs become my daily visit.
PPPS: Terus nemu site ini deh.
